The Swift Water Rescue (SWR) training

The Swift Water Rescue (SWR) training was organized on the River Zeta as a part of IPA cross-border project  “Business Cooperation and Skills Improvement for the Development of Outdoor Tourism” (DOT) from November 22 – 25th, 2011.

Swift water rescue experts from Croatia organized this training, which was successfully attended by 25 specially equipped participants (15 from Croatia and 10 from Montenegro).

Participants received classroom training as well as field training on the river aiming to:

-   develop a sense of confidence and necessary skills for those who work in a swift water environment.

-   use techniques and equipment (both standard and advanced) to assess and perform river rescues.
